I have a 2001 subaru outback 2.5L and I got myself into a little more water than I could handle. The car stalled and wouldn't start, and the next day after being towed to a slope to let water flow out the exhaust it still won't turn over. All the electronics work (I disconnected the battery) and the starter goes clack-clack-clack-clack and it won't start, and I don't think the cylinders are rotating. Where should I start to try to repair this? What kind of price am I looking at? Please no joke answers, this is a serious question for a serious problem I need to solve soon and hopefully cheaply. Please let me know. Thank you!
