My ps3 wifi keeps disconnecting?

Okay so I use my laptop and so does my brother on the wifi and its perfect, its fast and never disconnects. When i turn on my ps3 and try to use the wifi and our laptops are connected to the internet my ps3 will connect and disconnect repeatedly.. I had a linksys wr54 router with a password etc. Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it? If i turn off my laptop the ps3 runs great and connects to the internet just fine
