Why when I use my phone the internet reconnect?

I found out about this when I was trying to call the internet company to tell them about the internet disconnection problem. When I am on waiting to speak to the internet company, the internet reconnect after more than an hour disconnection. Now when the internet disconnect I start using the phone until it reconnect back again. does anybody know why?..
