Do you think this guy likes me?

He is super goofy and funny around me, and he confides in me more than other girls, even if he's known me for less time, sometimes I catch him staring at me, he talks to me all the time and he tries to impress me (he manages quite well). Whenever I tell him I have to go, he says "No, stay." Yet for some reason he sometimes disconnects randomly when we chat online and he doesn't even wish me a happy birthday even though people that I know but that I'm not really friends with wish me a happy birthday. (Not that i expect it or anything.) He's really fun in person but online he's just plain awkward... Do you think he likes me? I kind of like him... PS i'm NOT clingy, He's the person that's most on my mind and i was kind of hoping for a happy birthday on my FB wall...:(
