How do I disconnect the lights in my car boot?

I have a Nissan pulsar '93 hatchback. There is a dent in the back which won't allow the boot to close. And I can't afford to get it fixed right now. Because I can't close the boot, the lights have been draining my battery. I was wondering if there was any way I could just disconnect the lights so that they do not use up my battery. Thankyou.
