Why do i keep getting disconnected from xbox live?

Yesterday it was decent connection and i took a nap and woke up and tried to play black ops but it tries to find a match and i end up the only one in the lobby until once it let me play a full gamebut was laggy as hell i couldnt get even one kill i had to restep my steps about 5 times because of lag then after the match i got disconnected from xbox live then i try to re sign in and it says something in my connections wont let me then i try to sign in again and it lets me i know its not hacked because i called microsoft and they said it might be my internet that is too slow to let me do anything but it just started this bs never had this ever happen im pissed off what should about this peace of **** disconnnecting? And im sorry about long story:( oh yeah amd someone did threaten to hack me but didnt believe them could they have done something else besides hack my acc like mess my internet up??
